| 從一個觀光客的心態到現在以這塊土地的一份子來看鹿港，也用一個外行人的角度來看古蹟修護。
這幾年來，對於龍山寺修護工法與過程，受到各界不少的指教，也使得龍山寺的修復讓人感覺費時許久，尚且不對龍山寺一些工法提出什麼看法，畢竟，對於我們來說，我們大部分都是外行人，但是龍山寺的修護，讓我們看到主導者以及各界專業人士的互動，我也認為許多地方上，龍山寺比起鹿港其他許多古蹟的維護上，已經倍感用心。
腳步隨著我們走進鹿港丁家進士古厝，從前方三坎的店面走進去，仍舊記得我第一次走進這裡，被這隱身於中山路店家後的豪門大院震撼，其實在每次走近鹿港所謂『不見天街』上的老房子都會有著無限的驚奇，每間都是有著不同的設計與建築。不過讓我比較覺得奇怪的，是重修後建築的顏色，讓我覺得失去原本古蹟的風貌，也曾經遇過遊客跟我抱怨道：漂亮是漂亮，可是感覺的像新的，不像古蹟。老一輩的鹿港人也告訴我，其實鹿港這些維修後的古蹟，已經不是原本的色彩，像文武廟、金門廟等等。古蹟的維護不就是盡量維持原本的風貌，然後延長古蹟的壽命嗎？難道漆上這五顏六色會讓古蹟得到重生的生命嗎？
我曾經問過現在丁家進士古厝的管理人丁禎祥校長，當初並不是現在這種顏色，而更讓我感到納悶的，當初修護之時的規劃當是由學者、專業人士所組成的團體去規劃設計，一些由丁家本身所提出的要求看法也無能落實於翻修的計畫之中，許多的規劃跟設計也大大迥異於原本的樣貌，難道所謂專家會比進士之後的丁校長更了解這間古厝嗎？其實走在鹿港的老街就會發現這些專家學者所設計出的也是很弔詭，像是在後車巷兩邊多了用小石子鋪成的花樣，就像是健康步道一樣，讓人覺得突兀。縣定古蹟丁家進士古厝修復完成至今剛屆滿一年，剛修好的門不到半年的時候已經出現四條大裂縫，而牆面已出現斑駁，窗櫺的工法也是粗糙到不行，如此的修復撐得了多久？
然而當我們離開這些業已修復被漆上炫麗光彩的古蹟，看到的是這些已傾圮的歷史建築，看著斷垣殘壁早已荒廢的房子，縱使有再多的故事，也將隨著古蹟的傾倒而漸漸地被遺忘，房子共業產權無法使用、礙於金錢及法令無法輕易變更的悲哀，古蹟的修復的確是鹿港未來發展當務之急，只是執行上我們仍需要更完善的辦法以及配套措施，因為沒有人想看到當龍山寺修復完成，外表被漆上如同丁家進士古厝的顏色。 |
